About me.
Growing up in Mississippi, people thought I was crazy for pursuing the one sport that was practically unheard of. Playing hockey with only one rink in the entire state seemed like an impossible mission, but from the first time I stepped on the ice, I knew that there was nothing that was ever going to compare.
I traveled 3 hours, then 12 hours, then moved across the world to chase something that many thought would be impossible. Along the way, I found a community of people that cared just as deeply about the sport. Since high school, it has become my mission to grow the sport and create positive experiences for any and all who have decided to take the chance of stepping on the ice.
Throughout my playing career, I became an avid hockey coach, mentor, and content creator. I worked to build a platform across social media that allowed me to give my trial-and-error knowledge to any athlete who might need it.
It started with mentoring high school athletes, who eventually went on to play for their national team, NCAA D1, and professional hockey. Then, my story shifted—I began sharing my experiences with mental health, using honesty as a bridge to help others feel seen and supported. Now, that path has led me to build something bigger than myself—grassroots hockey initiatives that create space for kids who dare to dream, and a future where every player feels seen, supported, and empowered.
